Salary: $141,520 – $208,000

What you will do

• Design and implement a formal analytics data layer using AWS Glue, Athena/Presto, and LookML.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define and maintain alignment on metric definitions and data lineage.
• Develop automated data reconciliation and quality checks to ensure accuracy of critical reports.
• Lead investigations into complex data anomalies and perform root cause analysis.
• Mentor team members on data modeling, testing, documentation, and code review best practices.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of professional experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in SQL and hands-on experience with data models and AWS Glue (or similar).
• Proven ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders to codify and reconcile business metrics.
• Experience owning ambiguous projects from inception to completion with minimal guidance.
• Strong technical communication skills for conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Must be based in the US (excluding CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA).

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment.
• Expertise in Python, Hive, Presto, Spark, and dashboarding tools like Looker or Tableau.
• Experience with dbt tests, CI/CD, and data observability frameworks.
• Track record of establishing data culture and best practices in fast-paced tech organizations.
