TL;DR
Fabrication Data Analyst (Manufacturing): Collecting, analyzing, and visualizing fabrication performance data across sheet metal, busbar, and powder coating operations with an accent on OEE, utilization, scrap, labor efficiency, and capacity. Focus on root-cause analysis, MES and OEE data optimization, capacity modeling, automated reporting, and process control for continuous improvement.

What you will do
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze fabrication data from OEE, MES, ERP, and manual sources.
- Develop and maintain Power BI, Tableau, and similar dashboards and reports for production performance.
- Monitor OEE, utilization, scrap, throughput, labor efficiency, capacity, and schedule attainment.
- Perform root-cause analysis for downtime, quality issues, delays, bottlenecks, and process instability.
- Support process implementation and control, including standard work, cycle times, routings, load balancing, and line balancing.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and planning on MES/OEE optimization, capacity modeling, forecasting, automation cells, and continuous improvement projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering, data analytics, manufacturing technology, or a related technical field.
- 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing analytics, operations analysis, industrial engineering, or a similar role.
- Strong experience with ERP systems; Infor SyteLine is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical, data manipulation, database, and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into operational recommendations.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably sheet metal, busbar, and powder coating operations.
Nice to have
- Strong SQL and database structure knowledge.
- Familiarity with OEE, MES, and machine monitoring systems.
- Experience with process implementation, process control, or standard work documentation.
