WiFi Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer / Principal Software Engineer (WiFi)

What you will do

• Design and develop Wi-Fi software and firmware for enterprise access points, embedded clients, and other wireless technologies.
• Research and develop technologies supporting industrial features and IEEE/WFA specifications.
• Participate in the full IC lifecycle, including specification design, pre-silicon validation, chip bring-up, software development, and silicon validation.
• Develop, integrate, test, and troubleshoot embedded software and Wi-Fi firmware features.
• Support customers remotely or onsite as needed.

Requirements

• MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Proficiency in C programming.
• For the Senior level, 4+ years of related semiconductor experience.
• For the Principal level, 8+ years of related semiconductor experience.
• Strong embedded software development, integration, testing, and troubleshooting skills for Senior and Principal levels.
• Teamwork, communication, writing skills, independence, and willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax firmware development experience.
• Linux, Android, or Windows Wi-Fi driver programming.
• FreeRTOS or ThreadX programming.
• ARM assembly knowledge and experience with PCIe, USB, or SDIO interfaces.
• Low-level silicon bring-up and silicon validation experience.
