Location: Sofia, Bulgaria; fully distributed and remote

What you will do
- Support automation, ETL, data processing, cleansing, and data pipeline development.
- Design, architect, implement, and support structured datasets for timely access to actionable business information.
- Retrieve and analyze data using SQL, Excel, and business intelligence systems.
- Develop queries for ad hoc requests, projects, and ongoing reporting.
- Monitor metrics, analyze data, and answer business questions through data-driven analysis.
- Collaborate with BI/reporting engineers, product owners, and data scientists while working with AWS cloud technologies.
Requirements
- 7–8+ years of overall experience as a Data Engineer and/or Business Intelligence Engineer.
- 3–4+ years of experience with Python and 3+ years in data, BI, analytics, or reporting.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with data analytics, business intelligence, data pipelines, warehousing, reporting, data modelling, optimization, and ETL processes.
- Experience with BI solutions such as QuickSight, Tableau, QlikView, or Power BI.
- Highly proficient spoken and written English required.
