Authentication Specialist I (Sneakers & Apparel)

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States; onsite warehouse environment. The role requires working five days per week, generally from 9:00am to 4:30pm, with extended hours, weekends, and holidays during peak periods as needed.

Salary: $22 USD per hour, plus benefits.

What you will do

• Verify the authenticity of sneakers and apparel across major brands and newly released SKUs.
• Identify manufacturer defects, factory product resets, wear, incorrect sizes, and SKU discrepancies.
• Receive, organize, and arrange inbound inventory by brand, category, and model.
• Enter SKU, size, condition, and original packaging data accurately into hirify.global Admin.
• Research industry trends, new products, upcoming brands, and collaborations while maintaining detailed training notes.
• Communicate operational issues, including suspected counterfeit footwear, through Slack and other channels.

Requirements

• Knowledge of sneakers, apparel, major brands, original releases, re-releases from the past 2–5 years, and the resale industry.
• Ability to recognize current trends and authenticate products beyond core categories using training materials.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, independent judgment, and ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 35 pounds and work around heavy warehouse equipment.
• Full proficiency in reading and communicating in English.
• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays when business needs require.
