Graphic Design Meteorologist

Location: State College, Pennsylvania, or remote within the United States

What you will do

• Systematically review weather graphics across hirify.global’s websites, apps, network, business, marketing, and subscription products.
• Work with graphic development teams to improve maps, data displays, and visual standards.
• Present proposed changes to leadership, secure alignment, and coordinate implementation.
• Help form and collaborate with a small team of meteorologists and designers to improve prioritization and decision-making.
• Increase the use of AI for developing maps, graphs, charts, and other visual communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science or Meteorology.
• At least 2 years of experience designing weather maps and displays.
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills, including the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple tasks, and stay detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Understanding of weather data, data formats, and forecast models.
• Knowledge of what can be done in Baron’s.
• Experience using AI for graphic creation.
