Senior Golang Developer (Fintech)

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria; fully distributed and remote

What you will do

• Design and implement complex workflows and APIs.
• Write scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and maintainable Go code.
• Translate software requirements into stable, high-performance, high-availability software.
• Contribute to architectural and design decisions for an efficient distributed microservices architecture.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Golang programming language, paradigms, constructs, and idioms.
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming, goroutines, channels, and common concurrency patterns.
• Experience designing low-latency and high-performance software.
• Experience with Go package management, ORM tools such as Gorm, unit and performance testing, and testing frameworks such as Ginkgo.
• Experience with Go templating, Godoc comments, and version control tools including Git, SVN, or Mercurial.
• English CV required.

Nice to have

• Experience building APIs with current standards.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Ember, Angular, or React.
• Ruby or Ruby on Rails experience.
• Redis, RabbitMQ, or other message broker experience.
• Security, Linux, DevOps, AWS, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible experience.
• Previous payment industry experience.
