Senior Software Engineer (React Native)

What you will do

• Own the React Native companion app across architecture, instrumentation, App Store and Google Play release, and post-launch iteration.
• Build features across web and mobile with the application team using a unified TypeScript stack.
• Deliver full-stack functionality across accessible React interfaces, type-safe APIs, GraphQL, and multiple data stores.
• Make architectural decisions focused on reliability, scalability, maintainability, and business goals.
• Manage production accountability through instrumentation, incident response, and post-incident analysis.
• Improve engineering quality through code reviews, mentoring, testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tooling.

Requirements

• 8+ years of production experience building and operating full-stack systems with React, Node, TypeScript, cloud-native development, CI/CD, and observability.
• Experience with native iOS or Android development alongside React Native, including shipping apps and handling store reviews and releases.
• Strong system design skills with an emphasis on reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
• Experience building accessible web applications meeting WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
• Ability to review and use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Copilot.
• Experience setting technical direction, mentoring engineers, and working on collaborative asynchronous distributed teams.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with oRPC or tRPC, Pulumi, and Better Auth.
• Experience in accessibility-critical or heavily regulated environments.
• Experience tuning data access across relational, NoSQL, and search systems.
