Senior AI Product Manager (GenAI)

Salary: $220,000–$280,000 per year, plus bonus or incentive opportunities

What you will do

• Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for client-facing AI experiences.
• Lead product development from user research and requirements gathering through launch and go-to-market planning.
• Partner with research and engineering teams to establish evaluation strategies for generative AI output quality.
• Define metrics for hallucination impact, output acceptance, safety concerns, trends, and business impact.
• Develop enablement and onboarding plans for internal teams using GenAI platform tools.
• Prioritize iterative deliverables, manage trade-offs, and mitigate product risks while maintaining compliance with financial-services requirements.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree.
• 7–10+ years of professional IT or product development experience, including 5+ years of direct product experience.
• 3+ years working closely with software engineers.
• Strong understanding of modern GenAI systems, including LLMs, RAG, system prompts, and multi-step AI workflows.
• Understanding of basic statistics, probability distributions, and measurement fundamentals.
• Demonstrable experience using or building generative AI solutions.

Nice to have

• MBA or graduate degree in computer science or an AI-related field.
• Background in product management, engineering, or data science.
• Experience building controlled and auditable multi-step GenAI workflows.
• Strong communication, business influence, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Curiosity and commitment to keeping current with GenAI capabilities.
