Frontend WordPress Developer (WordPress)

What you will do

• Build responsive websites and features from Figma or similar design references.
• Develop and maintain WordPress Gutenberg block themes using templates, parts, patterns, and theme.json.
• Work with traditional WordPress themes and occasionally other page builder platforms.
• Write clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and extend front-end functionality with React or similar component-based approaches.
• Use Git and GitHub, code reviews, branching conventions, and continuous deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and strategists while improving tooling, reusable components, documentation, and delivery processes.

Requirements

• Fluency in WordPress, including traditional themes and Gutenberg block themes.
• Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills, with experience translating designs into accurate, responsive, production-ready code.
• Familiarity with Git workflows, collaborative development, and CI/CD or continuous deployment pipelines.
• Experience with tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, or Codex.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to maintainable code, and excellent communication skills.
• Fluent English required for written and spoken communication.

Nice to have

• Experience building custom Gutenberg blocks.
• Experience with React or similar component-based frameworks.
• Experience in a multi-client or agency environment.
