Remote Full Stack Developer (Frontend-Focused) (WordPress)

What you will do

• Build custom WordPress themes, Gutenberg blocks using ACF or React, and plugins from design mockups.
• Translate designs into responsive, accessible frontend implementations using HTML, CSS/SASS, and modern JavaScript.
• Work with Drupal theming, content types, and module-level troubleshooting for client sites.
• Diagnose and fix frontend and backend issues across WordPress, Drupal, and other CMS platforms.
• Collaborate with designers, consultants, and clients to refine implementations and solve technical problems.
• Use AI tools such as Claude Code to plan and execute parts of large projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience with strong HTML, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript skills.
• 3+ years of WordPress development, including Gutenberg block development with ACF or React.
• Working knowledge of PHP 7.x/8.x for reading, debugging, and extending WordPress and Drupal codebases.
• Practical Drupal experience in theming, content architecture, or module-level development.
• Familiarity with WordPress hooks and filters, MySQL, Git, and LAMP-stack conventions.
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating in a remote, client-facing environment.

• React or Angular experience.
• Laravel or Symfony experience.
• Docker and Linux familiarity.
• AWS or other cloud platform experience.
