What you will do

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites, creating custom themes and plugins from scratch.
• Migrate websites from other platforms to WordPress and integrate tools such as WooCommerce and WPML.
• Optimize WordPress sites for page speed, performance, SEO, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
• Fetch data from the WordPress backend using WPGraphQL or the WordPress REST API.
• Transform complex PSD layouts into responsive, cross-browser-compatible HTML5/CSS3 templates.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously using version control systems like Git or SVN.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
• Expertise in custom theme and plugin development and a strong understanding of WordPress architecture.
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience working in a LAMP development environment and with responsive web design techniques.
• English: Excellent written and spoken skills required.
• Availability: Must be available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time.

Nice to have

• Experience with ReactJS or AngularJS.
• Knowledge of BigCommerce, Magento, and Shopify.
• Advanced experience with WooCommerce development and performance optimization.
