Location: Remote (Global)
Salary: $17 - $35 per hour (for candidates in CA, NY, WA, and CO)

What you will do
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites, creating custom themes and plugins from scratch.
- Migrate websites from other platforms to WordPress and integrate tools such as WooCommerce and WPML.
- Optimize WordPress sites for page speed, performance, SEO, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Fetch data from the WordPress backend using WPGraphQL or the WordPress REST API.
- Transform complex PSD layouts into responsive, cross-browser-compatible HTML5/CSS3 templates.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously using version control systems like Git or SVN.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
- Expertise in custom theme and plugin development and a strong understanding of WordPress architecture.
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience working in a LAMP development environment and with responsive web design techniques.
- English: Excellent written and spoken skills required.
- Availability: Must be available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
Nice to have
- Experience with ReactJS or AngularJS.
- Knowledge of BigCommerce, Magento, and Shopify.
- Advanced experience with WooCommerce development and performance optimization.
