Compliance Lead, Mental Health Parity

Location: Remote nationwide within the United States. Occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required; no domestic travel is otherwise expected.

Salary: $115,200–$158,400 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Develop compliance strategy and provide ongoing oversight and monitoring for MHPAEA and other enterprise compliance requirements.
• Complete risk assessments and create annual audit and monitoring work plans.
• Interpret federal, state, and contractual requirements and advise internal business areas and external partners on implementation.
• Audit and monitor operational performance, identify risks through data and analytics, and develop remediation and action plans.
• Prepare and oversee reports, filings, attestations, and issue documentation for state and federal regulators.
• Present to regulators and influence enterprise strategy while reporting key risks and remediation progress to compliance leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7 or more years of legal or compliance experience.
• 2 or more years of project leadership experience.
• Ability to make decisions on complex regulatory issues and work independently.
• Ability to prioritize and lead large-scale, highly visible projects and influence business partners and leadership.
• Ability to work remotely from within the United States, using a dedicated workspace that protects member PHI and HIPAA information.

Nice to have

• MBA and/or JD.
• Knowledge of healthcare operations, healthcare audits, and healthcare laws and regulations.
• Knowledge of MHPAEA and other Mental Health Parity regulations.
