Pharmacist (Digital Health)

What you will do

• Clinically check prescriptions through the online pharmacy platform for accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance with professional and regulatory requirements.
• Review and progress prescriptions within agreed SLAs and turnaround times while maintaining patient safety.
• Identify prescriptions requiring intervention, record rejection reasons and actions taken, and escalate clinical or operational concerns.
• Work remotely with pharmacy and clinical colleagues to resolve prescription queries and discrepancies.
• Identify recurring issues, bottlenecks, and process gaps and raise them with relevant teams.
• Follow SOPs, policies, the clinical governance framework, and professional standards while adapting to evolving systems and workflows.

Requirements

• Qualified Pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
• Strong clinical judgement, excellent attention to detail, and a clear commitment to patient safety.
• Confidence working independently in a fully remote environment.
• Ability to work accurately in a high-volume pharmacy operation and meet defined targets, SLAs, and performance measures.
• Confidence using digital pharmacy systems and communicating effectively with remote colleagues.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing processes and systems.

• Experience in a digital, online, high-volume, or specialist pharmacy environment.
