Software Engineer (Development & QA Automation) (Hybrid - Newark, NJ, Coppell, TX or NYC) (QA Automation)

Location: Hybrid role based in Newark, NJ, Coppell, TX, or NYC, United States

Salary: $90,000–$95,000 per year, plus bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Analyze technical ideas, assess feasibility, and define implementation approaches.
• Estimate work and contribute to project timelines and delivery commitments.
• Maintain and migrate existing application code to newer platforms.
• Develop, automate, and execute test cases and verify results before business or client acceptance testing.
• Support integration, implementation, deployment strategies, automation tools, operating manuals, and system documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience.
• Practical experience with Perl, Python, Java, Linux, and Shell scripting.
• Experience developing and executing automated tests throughout the delivery cycle.
• Knowledge of application analysis and design methodologies, including database concepts.
• Knowledge of AFP and PDF print formatting and testing for content and formatting.
• Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodology.
