Location: San Francisco, CA, United States. Hybrid policy: staff are expected to work from one of the offices at least 25% of the time; some roles may require more office attendance.

Annual salary: $240,000–$325,000 USD

What you will do

• Own hardware forecasts covering delivery volumes, lease and financing expenses, and cash flows.
• Run budget-versus-actuals reporting for machine spend and explain cost movements.
• Act as the finance point of contact for machines during forecast and close cycles with Accounting and consolidated FP&A.
• Coordinate forecast inputs with Capacity Planning and the Compute deal team.
• Track spending and cash-flow phasing against multi-year hardware commitments.
• Support chip and accelerator economics analyses and build reporting for leadership.

Requirements

• End-to-end ownership of a forecast or budget in a hardware, semiconductor, hyperscaler, or infrastructure-heavy business.
• Strong driver-based financial modeling and budget-versus-actuals or variance analysis skills.
• Ability to partner with engineering and commercial teams under deal-timeline pressure.
• 7+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or capacity/infrastructure finance is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to work from one of the company’s offices at least 25% of the time.

Nice to have

• Capacity planning or infrastructure FP&A experience at a hyperscaler or major chip maker.
• Experience building forecasting infrastructure for a new or fast-changing spend area.
• Fluency in lease and long-term-agreement accounting.
• MBA, CFA, or equivalent qualification.
