Security Platform Engineer (AI)

Salary: $160,000–$180,000 base compensation, plus bonus

What you will do

• Build and operate the security fabric supporting security capabilities across hundreds of AWS environments.
• Develop agentic AI workflows using Claude Code, MCP integrations, and custom agent harnesses for infrastructure reviews, drift detection, runbook generation, and incident analysis.
• Operate security telemetry, logging, OpenSearch, alerting, and observability infrastructure.
• Design GitOps deployment workflows with ArgoCD, Argo Workflows, and Kustomize across AWS accounts and regions.
• Develop production-quality Python automation and secure Kubernetes workloads in EKS.
• Participate in on-call operations, security incident support, audit evidence collection, and reliability improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, reliability engineering, DevSecOps, or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of production experience with at least two agentic coding tools.
• Production experience with Python or a similar language and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
• Strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes, multi-account and multi-region infrastructure, CI/CD, and GitOps deployment patterns.
• Experience with security telemetry pipelines, OpenSearch or similar platforms, cloud security, and compliance frameworks including SOC 2, PCI DSS, CIS Benchmarks, or AWS Well-Architected.
• Must be able to work remotely from the United States; strong written and verbal communication is required for an async-first environment.

Nice to have

• AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, or GIAC cloud security certifications.
• Experience with agent evaluation, open-source projects, public writing, or technical talks.
