Manager, Forensic Accounting (Insurance Claims)

Location: Kingston, Canada; hybrid work model

Salary: CAD 95,000–140,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage and complete forensic accounting assignments.
• Quantify commercial insurance claims, including business interruption losses.
• Support commercial litigation, family law, fraud, business valuation, and other dispute matters.
• Meet with clients and communicate analytical findings and results.
• Supervise and teach junior-level accountants.
• Contribute to business development and maintain current client relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
• At least five years of relevant experience in forensic accounting services.
• Experience measuring commercial insurance claims and providing litigation support.
• Ability to manage staff, with strong analytical, writing, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.

Nice to have

• Additional designation or progress toward CBV, CFF, CFE, or a similar qualification.
• Experience with litigation support, personal injury claims, or accident benefits claims.
• Additional language skills.
