Backend Software Engineer (Ruby/Go)

Location: Brazil; remote

What you will do

• Build and maintain the core API used by customers, SDKs, the Terraform provider, and internal systems.
• Design and implement backend services in collaboration with the platform architect and lead backend engineer.
• Develop REST APIs, webhooks, SDK compatibility, and other developer-facing integrations.
• Own the reliability and operational quality of the services you build.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Ruby on Rails, Python, or Go; experience with multiple listed technologies is preferred.
• Experience designing and building REST APIs at scale.
• Knowledge of relational databases, background jobs, and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Strong interest in API design and developer-facing products.
