What you will do

• Build, deploy, and support high-load ML-based real-time systems for search and browse.
• Develop and maintain the Ranking Platform for internal data science and ML engineering teams.
• Optimize ranking service performance and latency for real-time request processing.
• Improve signal delivery and retrieval infrastructure for ML model inference.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and update ranking functionalities.

Requirements

• English: C1+ required
• Experience in designing and maintaining high-load distributed real-time services in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with compiled languages like C, Rust, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of API design, distributed systems, and database management (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience with major public clouds like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Nice to have

• Experience with MLOps for delivering and serving ML models.
• Experience setting up and improving CI/CD pipelines.
