Location: Paris region, France, within a commutable distance for a hybrid working schedule. Business proficiency in French and English is required. Travel of up to 20–30% may be required.

What you will do

• Partner with Account Executives to develop technical strategies for acquiring new startup and SMB customers and expanding existing accounts.
• Lead consultative discovery with founders, CTOs, engineering and data leaders, architects, and technical practitioners.
• Design solution architectures, define success criteria, deliver demonstrations, guide sizing, and coordinate proofs of concept.
• Provide technical leadership across data engineering, warehousing, analytics, BI, machine learning, GenAI, applications, Lakebase, and cloud-native workloads.
• Use customer signals, architecture, security, cost, and adoption data to prioritize high-value technical engagements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, services, Support, and technology partners through workshops, events, and customer initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in customer-facing presales, technical architecture, consulting, or an equivalent role.
• Experience leading technical discovery and architecture discussions with software engineers, data teams, architects, and senior technical decision-makers.
• Experience designing distributed data systems and cloud-native solutions using one or more public-cloud providers.
• Hands-on programming experience with at least one of Python, SQL, Scala, or Java.
• Depth in a relevant domain such as data engineering, data warehousing, analytics, data science, machine learning, GenAI, streaming, OLTP, or data governance.
• Business proficiency in French and English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-growth technology companies, SaaS businesses, product engineering teams, founders, or venture-backed organizations.
• Experience with Apache Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, or comparable modern data and AI technologies.
• Familiarity with startup, VC, accelerator, ISV, or cloud-partner ecosystems.
• Databricks or cloud certifications.
