What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications using Kotlin, Java, and Spring.
• Implement and maintain APIs for microservices communication within a Kubernetes environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot complex issues across the full stack to ensure reliability.
• Contribute to a fail-fast culture through experimentation, early validation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend services development using Kotlin and Spring.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency in RESTful API development, PostgreSQL, and Kafka.
• Strong focus on code quality, including self-testing and developing unit and integration tests.
• English: Very good proficiency (speaking and writing) required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
