What you will do

• Architect and build robust, scalable, and maintainable systems for global payment processing.
• Lead complex cross-team engineering projects from technical planning through delivery.
• Shape technical vision, architecture, roadmap, and engineering strategy.
• Mentor and coach engineers while raising standards for code quality, testing, and technical excellence.
• Collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders to communicate complex technical decisions clearly.
• Optimize performance, scalability, reliability, and quality through efficient algorithms, automation, and rigorous reviews.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in Go and/or Kotlin and strong full-stack capability.
• Proven experience designing scalable systems, applying architecture principles, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Strong AWS and cloud-native experience, including services such as RDS, ECS, EKS, and S3.
• Excellent automated testing experience across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing within Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD workflows.
• Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring, strategic thinking, and delivery of complex projects.
• Advanced written and spoken English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Payments or fintech experience at global scale.
• Performance optimization and efficient algorithms for high-throughput, low-latency systems.
• Experience with static analysis, code-quality tooling, and mature CI/CD pipelines.
• Python experience for data, tooling, or automation.
• Open-source contributions, technical writing, or experience introducing engineering standards across teams.
