Senior Python Engineer (AI)

Location: Ruse or Sofia, Bulgaria

What you will do

• Develop and maintain AI-powered backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Design and implement REST APIs and integrations for the AI solution.
• Integrate Azure AI Services and Azure AI Foundry to support AI-driven capabilities.
• Containerize applications with Docker and support deployments in OpenShift environments.
• Create and maintain GitLab CI pipelines for build, testing, and deployment automation.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and technical and business stakeholders to deliver scalable AI-enabled solutions for banking employees.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Python and FastAPI.
• Practical experience with Azure AI Services and Azure AI Foundry.
• Working knowledge of Docker and OpenShift.
• Experience with GitLab CI and basic CI/CD pipeline configuration.
• Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and improve backend service reliability and performance.

• Experience with Next.js or React.
