Conversions Business Analyst / SME with Corporate Actions (Fintech)

Location: Remote, Newark, New Jersey, United States. Travel to client sites may be required for workshops and implementation activities.

What you will do

• Manage user testing, triage client issues, track execution progress, and report testing results.
• Prepare and deliver client training, including product demonstrations and API-focused materials.
• Define upstream and downstream data integration mappings and product configurations.
• Support conversion strategy, mock conversions, go-live activities, and execution runbooks.
• Compare legacy and hirify.global outputs using BDC, define reconciliation rules, and improve match rates.
• Support production readiness, collaborate with stakeholders, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with corporate actions, dividends, and coupons at a financial institution or FinTech.
• At least 3 years of experience as a conversions or implementation consultant delivering SaaS projects for wealth or capital markets organizations.
• Experience with large-scale projects, project lifecycle governance, client-facing delivery, and managing multiple workstreams.
• Strong knowledge of asset servicing, including event capture, data quality, positions, transactions, entitlements, ledgers, and market participant integrations.
• Data analysis skills using SQL and Excel, with strong attention to detail and critical-thinking ability.
• Ability to travel to client sites when required.

Nice to have

• Experience with asset servicing platforms in wealth management, investment banking, or related financial environments.
• Knowledge of equities, fixed income, mandatory and elective corporate actions, tax, dividends, and coupons.
• Experience with hirify.global products such as Astrid, BPS, Impact, IPE/Gloss, ICS Notifications, or Data Control.
• Experience with reconciliations, agile delivery, and JIRA.
