Financial Analyst, FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis)

What you will do

• Support sales, operations, and other business teams with financial analysis and business insights.
• Perform variance, trend, forecasting, and profitability analysis using established models and tools.
• Prepare KPI reports, maintain dashboards, validate results, and highlight risks and opportunities.
• Assist with annual budgeting and monthly or quarterly forecasting, including data collection, consolidation, and variance explanations.
• Analyze internal and external business data for reviews, benchmarking, and commercial or operational analysis.
• Improve financial reporting, planning, and analysis processes through standardization and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, business analysis, or a related role.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, financial analysis, and data organization.
• Working knowledge of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, profitability analysis, and KPI interpretation.
• Ability to build and maintain financial models, explain financial information clearly, manage recurring deliverables, and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with enterprise financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, EPM, or similar platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, CRM, EPM Cloud, or other reporting and visualization tools.
• Exposure to macros or automation.
• CPA or CFA progress, MBA coursework, or another relevant finance certification.
