QHSE Associate (Bilingual French OR Spanish and English)

Location: US - Remote. Candidates within commuting distance of an hirify.global office must work hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. Travel of up to 30% is required.

Salary: $46,500–$70,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Conduct desktop manual audits of supplier safety and health programs, policies, procedures, and training documentation.
• Assess compliance with federal, state, provincial, and industry-specific requirements based on service-related exposure hazards.
• Help customers and suppliers close audit gaps and deficiencies by providing regulatory recommendations and guidance.
• Perform customer verifications and support audit closure activities.
• Respond to supplier and customer inquiries within 24 hours and document correspondence, comments, complaints, and case details.
• Complete 50+ audits per month while meeting hirify.global quality and SLA targets.

Requirements

• Relevant safety, health, or environmental knowledge with the ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements.
• Working knowledge of federal and state legislation, including OSHA, MSHA, DOT, maritime, or shipyard requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, prioritization, attention to detail, and ability to manage workload fluctuations.
• Ability to learn online software systems and use Windows-based PCs and related applications.
• Reliable transportation and regular, predictable attendance.
• Completion of OSHA 30-hour training; 1–5 years of safety experience, an internship, or contractor prequalification experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Fluency in French or Spanish in addition to English.
• Two-year or four-year degree or safety certification.
• Experience with environmental, oil and gas, MSHA, maritime, or safety and health program development.
