What you will do
- Develop and maintain the data warehouse and curated, analytics-ready datasets used across the company.
- Own and evolve the dbt codebase with modularity, testing, and documentation best practices.
- Integrate third-party data sources such as HubSpot, GitHub, and Linear into the data ecosystem.
- Build tooling and infrastructure that improve the development experience for analytics and business users.
- Partner with analysts and stakeholders to design scalable data models for self-serve analytics.
- Promote data engineering best practices, data trust, documentation, reproducibility, and data democratization.
Requirements
- Proven experience in analytics or data engineering, focused on downstream analytics and reporting.
- Strong Python skills for scripting, tooling, and data transformation.
- Hands-on experience with dbt and SQL-based data transformation pipelines.
- Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, including star and snowflake schemas.
- Familiarity with modern OLAP warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift, and orchestration tools such as Airflow.
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerized environments, plus strong cross-functional communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience with Snowflake, AWS, GCP, or Azure.
