What you will do

  • Build and maintain integrated master schedules, key milestones, task dependencies, critical paths, and resource requirements across the vehicle product development lifecycle.
  • Track program progress against baselines and identify bottlenecks, delays, schedule risks, and critical path issues.
  • Develop mitigation plans and escalate timing issues with actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare timing status reports, executive dashboards, timeline presentations, and KPI reporting for management gateway reviews.
  • Coordinate sourcing, tooling, validation, manufacturing, quality, and launch milestones across cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain scheduling tools and standardize timing templates while improving program scheduling processes and methodologies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in program scheduling, project planning, or timing analysis.
  • Experience in automotive or manufacturing program environments.
  • Knowledge of automotive product development processes, including APQP and gateway or phase reviews.
  • Understanding of vehicle program milestones such as SOP, PPAP, launch, and ramp-up.
  • Understanding of engineering, tooling, manufacturing, supplier readiness, validation, testing, and homologation timing dependencies.
  • Ability to work on-site in Foster City, California.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Project management certification such as PMP.
