TL;DR
Senior Go Engineer (Healthcare): Developing and maintaining high-scale backend services and APIs for a healthcare platform to make prescription drugs more affordable with an accent on scalability and performance. Location: Remote within the Czech Republic or hybrid in Prague, Hradec Králové, or Zlín

What you will do
- Design, implement, and maintain highly scalable and performant backend services and APIs.
- Develop tools and internal systems that power onboarding flows and support new product functionality.
- Continuously improve the codebase and test coverage through refactoring, TDD, and automation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Mentor other engineers, helping to improve overall engineering standards and processes.
- Operate and deploy cloud-based web services and microservices.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
- Extensive experience with Go and designing cloud-based microservices.
- Proficiency with TypeScript, Kafka, and both relational and non-relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless technologies (AWS Lambdas).
- Strong Linux fundamentals and proven debugging/troubleshooting skills.
- Must be based in the Czech Republic.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of front-end development (React or other).
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
