Material Handler - Shift 2

What you will do

• Retrieve, store, weigh, and prepare materials for thermoplastic injection molding.
• Identify resins for upcoming orders, perform master batch mixing, and stage materials for production.
• Clean and load dryers, identify suitable dryer temperatures, and configure equipment.
• Track inventory, calculate discrepancies, and perform regular cycle counts and annual inventory.
• Maintain housekeeping and an organized production area while following quality, safety, and operational standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve work processes and individual performance.

Requirements

• Previous inventory control experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with resins used in thermoplastic injection molding.
• Ability to become licensed to operate material-handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead crane hoists; training is provided.
• Ability to safely handle sharp and heavy objects and perform reaching, bending, and grasping.
• Computer literacy, experience with Microsoft packages, literacy, and numeracy.
• Reliability, punctuality, attention to detail, good attendance, and the ability to follow written, computer-based, and supervisor instructions in a fast-paced team environment.
