WordPress & AI Automation Developer (AI)

Location: Cape Town, South Africa; fully remote. Working hours: 9am–5pm MST.

Salary: $1,800–$2,200 per month.

Work with a Florida-based law firm that provides legal services to individuals and businesses, supported by hirify.global.

What you will do

• Manage WordPress maintenance, core updates, performance optimization, security monitoring, and custom theme and plugin adjustments.
• Implement technical SEO, including schema markup, site architecture improvements, page-speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, crawlability, and indexation.
• Design, build, and deploy AI agents and workflow automations for repetitive operational tasks across business departments.
• Integrate third-party APIs, webhooks, AI models, OpenAI, custom LLM pipelines, Make, Zapier, and n8n.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs across WordPress sites and AI automation pipelines.
• Document automated workflows, integrations, and site architecture.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of professional WordPress development experience with custom code, PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, technical SEO, and system integrations.
• Hands-on experience building AI automations, AI agents, or workflow pipelines using Zapier, Make, n8n, Python, or direct LLM APIs.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO principles and Core Web Vitals.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work proactively, independently, and with a business-first approach to improving time and cost efficiency.
