What you will do
- Partner with Sales to understand customer requirements and deliver tailored, code-level product demonstrations.
- Design custom API integrations and proof-of-concept environments for client technology stacks and use cases.
- Answer technical questions about API architecture, authentication, webhooks, data flows, and payment orchestration.
- Build and maintain sandbox environments, sample code, Postman collections, architecture diagrams, integration guides, and security documentation.
- Troubleshoot integration issues across API calls, webhooks, and payment flows during technical evaluations.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to communicate field feedback and influence API and developer-experience improvements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or in a similar technical role within payments or fintech.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, Postman, and cURL.
- Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or a similar programming language for sample integrations and debugging.
- Understanding of payment protocols and security standards including PCI DSS, tokenization, 3DS, and encryption.
- Familiarity with SQL, logs, and traces for troubleshooting integration issues.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and deliver effective technical demonstrations.
