Product Programme Manager (Humanoid Robotics)

hirify.global develops commercially scalable and safe hirify.global robots, including the HMND-01 Alpha platform for industrial pilots.

What you will do

• Lead the full lifecycle programme for the hirify.global robot fleet solution, from planning, design, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, and launch through mass deployment, version updates, and obsolescence or repurposing.
• Coordinate Product, Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Marketing, Business Development, and Finance resources, schedules, and deliverables.
• Build and maintain programme plans, risk registers, dependency maps, stage gates, governance, reporting, and communication processes.
• Own programme budget planning and management across development, testing, tooling, and deployment, including forecasting, variance tracking, change control, and senior-stakeholder reporting.
• Integrate Engineering Technical Programme Manager workstreams for bipedal locomotion, whole-body control, sensor integration, safety, and certification into the overall programme schedule.
• Manage supplier and partner programme dependencies for actuators, gearboxes, batteries, and sensors, translating technical KPIs into cost, schedule, quality, and production-readiness reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Industrial Design Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of programme or project management experience in technology or product development environments, preferably robotics or consumer electronics.
• Formal project management qualification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
• Track record of delivering complex, multidisciplinary hardware and/or software product development programmes across different lifecycle stages.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, manufacturing, finance, and supply chain, including programme budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
• Technical fluency in areas such as actuators, controls, sensors, robotics safety standards, and engineering programme risks, with the ability to make informed scope and trade-off decisions.

Nice to have

• Direct experience managing a bipedal or legged hirify.global robot programme from prototype through production and deployment.
• Experience with mass-production ramp-up, supplier qualification, and manufacturing scale-up for complex robotic or mechatronic hardware.
• Familiarity with simulation-to-real transfer, digital twins, or reinforcement-learning-based control.
