Location: Hybrid, based at office sites in Leeds, Manchester, Bristol, or Edinburgh; at least two days per week or 40% of working time in the office.

Salary: £92,701–£109,060 per year

What you will do

• Lead a team building and operating engineering services for AI agents, machine identities, and automated services.
• Govern non-human identities and automated access processes throughout their lifecycle.
• Work with security, engineering, architecture, Product Owners, and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Translate business requirements into technical approaches and engineering outcomes.
• Ensure identity services are secure, resilient, scalable, and well governed.
• Coach engineers and support their professional development.

Requirements

• Experience leading and developing engineering teams across delivery and professional growth.
• Experience in Identity and Access Management, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology.
• Strong technical background delivering complex enterprise-scale technology solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with Product Owners, Architects, and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Ability to translate business requirements into secure technical solutions.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SailPoint, Microsoft Entra ID, or CyberArk.
• Experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience with automation, API-driven integration, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Understanding of regulatory, risk, and security requirements in large organisations.
• Interest in machine identities, automated services, and emerging identity technologies.
