Lead Technical Application Specialist - Privileged Access Management (PAM)

Location: Hybrid, based at one of the office sites in Leeds, Manchester, Bristol or Edinburgh; at least two days per week or 40% of working time in the office

Salary: £92,701–£109,060 per year

What you will do

• Lead, coach and develop the engineering team responsible for privileged access services.
• Build, operate and enhance modern PAM platforms, automation and cloud-based security controls.
• Design and deliver secure, resilient and scalable enterprise PAM solutions.
• Enable secure just-in-time access and reduce standing privilege across critical systems.
• Work with Product Owners, Architects, Security teams and platform consumers to shape strategy and roadmap.
• Strengthen identity security capabilities across the Group.

Requirements

• Experience leading, coaching and developing engineering teams.
• Strong expertise in Privileged Access Management, Identity and Access Management or Identity Security.
• Experience delivering security platforms in large and complex organisations.
• Experience designing, implementing and operating enterprise PAM solutions.
• Knowledge of CyberArk technologies, preferably including the CyberArk Identity Security Platform.
• Experience with secrets management, privileged identity governance, privileged session monitoring, cloud platforms and modern authentication standards including OAuth, OIDC, SAML and SCIM.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing just-in-time access and supporting Zero Standing Privilege initiatives.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience improving automation and engineering efficiency.
• Knowledge of operational resilience and critical incident management.
