TL;DR
Analytics Engineer (SQL/Python): Building and scaling data models, pipelines, aggregation layers, and self-service analytics for a global logistics platform with an accent on data quality, KPI definition, and reporting reliability. Focus on optimizing ETL/ELT processes, designing reusable dashboard products, and enabling teams to analyze large datasets independently.

operates an on-demand logistics platform and is expanding its engineering hub in São Paulo to build and scale systems used by millions of people globally.
What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain data models for analytical and product data needs.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Implement and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data quality, reliability, and performance.
- Define business KPIs, measurement plans, data requirements, and reporting processes.
- Automate ad-hoc reporting and establish reusable, readable, and standardized design patterns.
- Build high-performing dashboards and reporting products using tools such as Tableau or Sigma.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, data engineering, or a similar role.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with dimensional modeling, 3NF, or data vault techniques.
- Proficiency in Python, Scala, or a similar programming language.
- Experience building reporting and dashboarding solutions with Snowflake, a data lake, or a similar ecosystem.
- Expertise in database fundamentals, SQL, and performance tuning.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies.
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, Looker, or Tableau.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and related data requirements.
