Senior Data Developer (Data Engineering)

Location: Brazil; remote home-office position.

What you will do

• Build versioned SQL transformation logic across staging, conformed, and curated warehouse layers.
• Recompute application-layer business logic, including account balances and other derived values.
• Flatten key-value and dimension-set structures into standard dimensional attributes for reporting.
• Convert spreadsheet and point-report formulas into reusable curated-layer transformations.
• Implement reconciliation and data-quality checks from replication integrity through report-level parity.
• Support BI semantic models and reporting tools using approved curated objects, and participate in code review, CI/CD promotion, and automated regression testing.

Requirements

• Hands-on data engineering experience with complex SQL transformations on a cloud data warehouse; Snowflake is strongly preferred.
• Experience building dimensional or curated data models from normalized or application-native source structures.
• Experience with reconciliation and data-quality frameworks, including variance detection and exception handling.
• Solid Git-based development and CI/CD promotion experience across development, test/UAT, and production.
• Fluent English at B2 level required for daily collaboration with distributed engineering teams and client stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, or another enterprise BI platform.
• Financial or GL data modeling experience, including ledger entries, chart of accounts, and dimension sets.
• Experience in mortgage, lending, or financial-services data engineering.
