Senior Data Developer (Databricks)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines with Databricks, Apache Spark, SQL, and Python or Scala.
• Build solutions for processing and transforming large datasets efficiently.
• Monitor and optimize data pipelines and workflows for performance, scalability, throughput, and reliability.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, engineers, business stakeholders, and clients to translate data needs into technical solutions.
• Implement data quality checks and governance practices.
• Troubleshoot complex pipeline issues, document technical solutions, and contribute to engineering standards.

Requirements

• Solid professional experience in data engineering and data pipeline development.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Proficiency in Python or Scala and experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based data solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• English and Portuguese communication skills are required. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is also required.
