Senior Data Developer (Data Engineering)

What you will do

• Build, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Implement data lakes, warehouses, and integration layers.
• Develop integrations between data sources, third-party tools, and analytics platforms.
• Implement data quality checks, governance processes, monitoring, and security practices.
• Collaborate with data, analytics, science, and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
• Optimize pipeline performance, query efficiency, storage costs, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with Databricks or Snowflake and data warehousing solutions such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
• Strong experience with data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Proficiency with SQL and Python, Scala, or Java.
• Understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
• English at B2 level or above and Spanish communication in reading, writing, and speaking are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Stitch, or similar modern data stack tools.
• Experience with Kafka, Pub/Sub, Kinesis, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with AI/ML pipelines, MLOps, D2C initiatives, or e-commerce analytics.
• Cloud or data engineering certifications.
