TL;DR
Data Tech Lead (Data Engineering/Databricks): Leading Data Engineering teams in designing scalable data platforms and business-driven solutions with an accent on technical standards, data quality, and cloud technologies. Focus on mentoring engineers, reviewing architectures and code, and building reliable Databricks and Apache Spark solutions for client initiatives.

What you will do
- Lead and support multiple Data Engineering teams while mentoring engineers and promoting technical excellence.
- Design, review, and oversee scalable data solutions using Databricks and modern cloud technologies.
- Define coding standards, architecture principles, documentation guidelines, and engineering best practices.
- Review technical deliverables and code to ensure maintainability, performance, reliability, data integrity, and governance.
- Partner with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define technical strategies and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
Requirements
- Advanced English communication skills, written and spoken.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong Data Engineering experience with hands-on expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, and cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java, plus experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data warehousing.
- Experience leading technical teams, mentoring engineers, making technical decisions, and managing multiple priorities.
Nice to have
- Consulting experience and work with international clients.
- Experience defining data governance and quality frameworks.
- Knowledge of modern data architecture patterns, including Lakehouse architectures.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, or relevant Databricks and cloud certifications.
