Senior Data Engineer (AI Platform)

hirify.global is a mobile game development company whose AI Platform team provides shared infrastructure for AI products across the company.

What you will do

• Build and own data pipelines and the platform layer supporting company-wide AI products.
• Develop analytics for LLM usage, including token consumption, caching, costs, and AI spending reports.
• Build contextual knowledge bases, vector databases, semantic search infrastructure, and RAG systems.
• Improve pipeline operability through profiling, monitoring, and observability in production.
• Build APIs, authorization, interfaces, and services that provide interactive access to data consumers.
• Make safe and effective architectural decisions for systems operating across approximately 7 petabytes of data.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience in data engineering with modern tools such as Airflow, Dagster, Greenplum, Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, or similar.
• Confident Python skills and a backend mindset covering authorization, service exposure, and service consumption.
• Practical experience profiling and monitoring production data systems.
• Conceptual understanding of vector databases, embeddings, contextual and semantic search, RAG architectures, and autonomous agents.
• Cloud experience, ideally with AWS.
