TL;DR
Senior DevOps Engineer - Core DevOps (Cloud Infrastructure): Designing and automating large-scale distributed systems for cloud contact center software with an accent on availability, scalability, latency, and operational efficiency. Focus on Kubernetes orchestration, infrastructure as code, observability, incident management, and building preventive measures for production reliability.
Location: Remote in Colombia

What you will do
- Design, implement, and automate large-scale distributed systems.
- Build tools and automation to improve availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to deliver high-quality software and reduce mean time to detect.
- Monitor production and development environments and implement preventive reliability measures.
- Participate in an on-call rotation with 8-hour shifts, seven days a week, every three to four weeks.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- 7+ years of experience with private cloud platforms such as OpenStack or VMware ESXi.
- 7+ years of experience with Linux, networking, and large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, GKE, Docker, GitLab, Argo CD, and CI/CD methodologies.
- Experience with Terraform, Python or other scripting languages, Ansible, and observability tools including Prometheus, Loki, Alertmanager, and Grafana.
- Knowledge of incident management, SRE, DevOps, and DevSecOps practices, plus a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
