Staff Accountant

Location: Remote

Salary: $60,000–$72,000 per year plus equity

Ognomy Sleep is a Series A-stage virtual care company providing clinician-led diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management for sleep apnea across all 50 states and D.C.

What you will do

• Own day-to-day transactional accounting, including data entry, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Support the Controller with month-end close activities and maintain accurate, current books.
• Maintain and update the financial model with the Controller and FP&A.
• Manage accounting across multiple related entities, including intercompany cross-charges.
• Support the consolidation of entity-level financials into company results.
• Partner with the Controller on reporting, vendor and expense questions, and ad hoc accounting requests.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience; internships and early full-time experience are welcome.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable with cross-functional engagement.
• CPA-track status is a plus; a CPA is not required.
