AI SDLC Lead Engineer (Cloud Architect) (m/f/d)

Location: Košice, Slovakia; remote working is available only within Slovakia due to European taxation regulations.

Salary: negotiable base salary, variable compensation, and other financial benefits; base salary from €2,200 gross per month.

What you will do

• Define and lead AI-assisted SDLC patterns for repository intake, code exploration, service mapping, build diagnosis, documentation, and engineering evidence generation.
• Analyse OpenStack-derived control-plane services, APIs, dependencies, integration flows, and build structures across repositories and teams.
• Evaluate and operationalize AI development platforms, coding agents, and approved open-weight or Chinese coding models for secure enterprise use.
• Establish human-in-the-loop controls, quality gates, prompt libraries, review patterns, and evidence standards for AI-generated engineering outputs.
• Coach software engineers and platform specialists on safe AI-tool usage while coordinating with architecture, security, DevOps, and testing teams.
• Produce stakeholder-ready transition risks, service decomposition views, codebase maturity observations, and recommended engineering actions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or technical architecture.
• Strong hands-on Python skills plus at least one backend or systems language such as Go, Java, C, C++, or Rust.
• Practical experience with AI coding agents and LLM-enabled SDLC workflows for large codebases, documentation, and engineering acceleration.
• Understanding of OpenStack-derived cloud architectures, modular service decomposition, CI/CD, Kubernetes-based delivery, and platform operations.
• Ability to lead senior engineers, challenge AI outputs, and turn incomplete evidence into structured engineering decisions.
• Ability to work remotely only from Slovakia because of European taxation requirements.
