TL;DR
Software Developer in Test (Java/JavaScript): Building automated tests and validating REST APIs for sports betting and online gaming products with an accent on API testing, clean code, and agile quality practices. Focus on developing unit and integration tests, supporting performance testing, and solving complex bugs across cross-functional product teams.
Location: Malta; relocation support is provided for moving to Malta.

What you will do
- Collaborate with Product Managers to shape user stories and define acceptance criteria.
- Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews.
- Develop automated tests using Java and validate product endpoints.
- Test REST interfaces and lead API testing activities.
- Support performance and load testing and help developers investigate bugs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on automation testing experience using JavaScript.
- Practical experience with Puppeteer, Selenium, Cucumber, or CodeceptJS.
- Experience writing test cases and unit tests with JUnit, REST-Assured, and mocking frameworks.
- Basic SQL knowledge, familiarity with agile testing, and good working knowledge of Linux.
- Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.
