Junior QA Engineer (iGaming)

What you will do

• Support projects and integrations across production and staging environments.
• Test mobile and desktop web applications through functional and non-functional testing.
• Verify production configurations, troubleshoot live issues, and support major and maintenance releases.
• Assist with integrations and user acceptance testing for new brands.
• Create configurations through internal backend systems and maintain test environments, including servers, microservices, databases, and deployments.
• Create and execute test plans, report defects in JIRA and other tracking tools, and collaborate with developers and stakeholders during Agile sprints.

Requirements

• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Written and spoken English required.
• Basic SQL knowledge, including MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Basic network troubleshooting skills, including SSH tools.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum processes and monolithic and microservices architectures.
• Practical experience with tools including TestRail, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Grafana, PostgreSQL, Kafka UI, Redis, JIRA, Git, Postman, and Browser DevTools.

Nice to have

• University degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.
• Previous technical support experience or experience in a similar role.
• At least one year of QA Engineer experience and practical web application testing experience.
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor for prompt crafting, test design, troubleshooting, and output validation.
