TL;DR
QA Engineer (iGaming) (Playwright/TypeScript): Developing and executing manual and automated tests for web applications and APIs with an accent on functional coverage, regression validation, and reliable defect management. Focus on building UI and API automation, investigating production issues, and improving QA processes across iterative software releases.
Location: Onsite in Skopje, North Macedonia. Candidates must be authorized to work in the posting location on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do
- Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform manual testing of web applications and APIs across functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end areas.
- Develop and maintain automated UI and API tests using existing frameworks, including Playwright.
- Identify, document, track, reproduce, and verify defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, DevOps Engineers, and QA colleagues during planning, refinement, troubleshooting, and release validation.
- Investigate production issues and provide clear test reports and status updates while improving QA methodologies.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional quality assurance experience, including strong manual testing experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in automated testing.
- Experience with Playwright, API testing, TestRail, and Git.
- Basic TypeScript knowledge and understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, attention-to-detail, and ownership skills.
- Authorization to work full-time in North Macedonia without current or future visa sponsorship.
Nice to have
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.
- Basic knowledge of performance testing tools such as K6.
- Understanding of the iGaming sector.
