Product Manager (DCN)

Location: Hybrid, with an average requirement of 2 days per week from an HPE office

What you will do

• Drive requirements and implementation plans for the DC software portfolio supporting AI and automated data center solutions.
• Manage reference architecture development and validation across Centers of Excellence, service organizations, and product lines.
• Drive software architecture and delivery for AI data center networking products, including training, inference, and GPU cluster connectivity.
• Support market and competitive analysis, product strategy, pricing, positioning, and product collateral.
• Coordinate technology partnerships, go-to-market teams, customers, and partners to support forecasts and solution adoption.
• Influence engineering, system test, sales engineering, and customer network architecture decisions.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in the data center or networking industry.
• 5+ years of product management experience, or equivalent experience in sales engineering, network engineering, technical marketing engineering, hardware engineering, or software engineering with strong product instincts.
• Strong understanding of EVPN-VXLAN and IP Fabric solutions for AI, enterprise, and cloud data centers.
• Experience influencing engineering development, system test teams, sales engineering teams, customers, and network architecture decisions.
• Strong communication, listening, planning, organizational, change management, cultural awareness, financial, and global business skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
