Staff Product Manager (AI Infrastructure)

Location: San Francisco, CA, United States; on-site

Salary: $215,000–$260,000 per year plus bonus and restricted stock units

What you will do

• Own and prioritize the networking product roadmap based on customer needs, technical feasibility, and business impact.
• Define the long-term strategy for cluster networking, software-defined networking, and RDMA fabrics supporting AI training and inference.
• Build customer relationships, gather networking requirements, and translate feedback into product decisions that support revenue and retention.
• Partner with Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Software Engineering, SRE, Finance, and executive leadership on specifications, timelines, and product economics.
• Communicate complex technical tradeoffs through decision documents and executive narratives.
• Support market analysis, go-to-market positioning, and customer-facing networking documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of technical product management or product-focused engineering experience, with Staff or Group PM-level ownership.
• In-depth understanding of cloud technologies and services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Experience building and launching networking products.
• Ability to define ambiguous cross-functional initiatives with minimal guidance and use data for decision-making.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-influence skills across engineering, finance, and executive teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with networking hardware and protocols.
• Familiarity with SDN, VPC networks, WAN, and RDMA fabrics such as InfiniBand or RoCE.
• Experience managing or mentoring product managers.
